The Boston Energy Team
Over many years of operational support to the Wind Energy Industry, Boston Energy have built a highly experienced management team; able to deliver the Group core values of safety and quality.
The Boston Energy management team operate in areas including; Technician Recruitment, Service Operations and Maintenance Support, Lifting Equipment Inspection Repair and Maintenance, Technical Training and Upskilling, Project Assembly and Installation Support and also HSEQ Management. We are also leaders in Crane Inspection Repair and Maintenance, with in-house subject matter experts on renewables cranes.
Boston Energy have signed the Armed Forces Covenant and are an Armed Forces friendly employer, having recruited from the Armed Forces, CTP and Veterans community for over 8 years and counting. Approximately 35% of our teams in the field are veterans with backgrounds in all areas of the tri-services, drawn from the Army, RAF, Navy and Marines. Many of our management team are also ex-armed forces and continue the sense of belonging into civilian life with Boston Energy.
Group Managing Director
Managing Director of Bostonair Group Ltd. Mark joined Bostonair in 1997 and led the company’s move into Recruitment, Line Maintenance, Training and the Energy sector.
Group Finance Director
Joined Bostonair in 2010 as Finance Director. A Chartered Accountant having previously worked in Audit & Investigations, Industrial Services, Manufacturing and FMCG sectors. Educated at London University, Manchester and Harvard Business Schools.
Group Commercial Director
Commercial Manager since 2011 and Group Commercial Director since March 2016, having previously been employed as a Production Manager at BAE Systems and as the Business Development Manager at Robin Hood Airport – Doncaster/Sheffield.
Head of Energy
Julian started his career in the Royal Marines where he served for 7 years. Before joining Boston Energy in 2019, Julian spent 20 years developing his skills and experience in a number of leadership roles across multiple sectors. This included the renewable energy sector, with UK and European focus on business growth as a direct result of quality service and customer satisfaction.
Senior Operations Manager
Adrian joined the Bostonair Group in March 2006, initially within the aviation division. In June 2011, Adrian transferred internally as a Project Manager to set up Boston Energy and begin supporting the renewables industry, to then assume the role of Operations Manager for Boston Energy since 2013. Adrian has over 20 years of Personnel Management, Training Management, Logistics and Recruitment experience.
Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager
Michelle joined in August 2016 having worked in the safety industry for 9 years. She has a wide range of commercial and safety experience across varied sectors. Currently studying NEBOSH diploma and working towards GRAD IOSH.
Technical Training Manager
Jason joined in 2016 as Technical Support and Training Manager, after working in a similar role at HMF UK for 4 years. At HMF UK, Jason managed offshore and onshore wind farm engineering projects and maintenance work. He previously ran his own company as a Commissioning Engineer in offshore wind farm construction projects for 4 years. Jason has been involved in Lifting, Crane Operations, Training and Engineering for over 25 years.
Account Manager/Project Lead
Rob joined Boston Energy in April 2019, having previously worked in the renewable energy industry for the past 3 years as a field based wind turbine authorised technician. Rob has over 13 years’ experience within engineering spanning multiple sectors.
Account Manager/Project Lead Germany Operations
Mark, who resides in Germany, has an engineering background of 16 years’ spanning multiple sectors including carrying out maintenance on & offshore as a wind turbine technician as well as an operations manager whilst serving in the military.
Pasha joined Boston Energy in January 2019 having worked at the highest level in the UK military planning operations within different international agencies. He is constantly pursuing excellence, building quality teams and delivering clients requirements. Believing in communications at every level both up and down the management framework ensuring cohesion in each and every team member by mentoring them to deliver a professional result every time.
Katie joined Bostonair in March 2014 as an Apprentice Administrator for the Aviation Division and worked her way up to the position of Senior Administrator until April 2018, when she then transferred to the Energy division and started her current role as Account Manager where she now manages several client portfolio’s.
Trainee Account Manager
Tom joined Bostonair in March 2017 as an Apprentice Administrator for both the Aviation and Energy divisions and worked his way up to his current role as Trainee Account Manager where he now supports the Germany operations. Tom is also a qualified PFPE inspector and currently manages all of Boston Energy’s PFPE inspections and maintenance.
Group Sales & Marketing Manager
Tom Anderton joined Bostonair in March 2016 as Group Marketing Manager. Tom has over 17 years in experience in Marketing in sectors such as Automotive, Energy, Renewables, Aviation and Plumbing & Heating. Has 14 years’ experience in B2B Marketing. Educated at Lincoln University.
