The Boston Energy Team

Over many years of operational support to the Wind Energy Industry, Boston Energy have built a highly experienced management team; able to deliver the Group core values of safety and quality.

The Boston Energy management team operate in areas including; Technician Recruitment, Service Operations and Maintenance Support, Lifting Equipment Inspection Repair and Maintenance, Technical Training and Upskilling, Project Assembly and Installation Support and also HSEQ Management. We are also leaders in Crane Inspection Repair and Maintenance, with in-house subject matter experts on renewables cranes.

Boston Energy have signed the Armed Forces Covenant and are an Armed Forces friendly employer, having recruited from the Armed Forces, CTP and Veterans community for over 8 years and counting. Approximately 35% of our teams in the field are veterans with backgrounds in all areas of the tri-services, drawn from the Army, RAF, Navy and Marines. Many of our management team are also ex-armed forces and continue the sense of belonging into civilian life with Boston Energy.

Mark Parkes

Group Managing Director

Managing Director of Bostonair Group Ltd. Mark joined Bostonair in 1997 and led the company’s move into Recruitment, Line Maintenance, Training and the Energy sector.

Adam Sumner

Group Finance Director

Joined Bostonair in 2010 as Finance Director. A Chartered Accountant having previously worked in Audit & Investigations, Industrial Services, Manufacturing and FMCG sectors. Educated at London University, Manchester and Harvard Business Schools.

Julian Cattermole

Director of Energy

Julian started his career in the Royal Marines where he served for 7 years. Before joining Boston Energy in 2019, Julian spent 20 years developing his skills and experience in a number of leadership roles across multiple sectors. This included the renewable energy sector, with UK and European focus on business growth as a direct result of quality service and customer satisfaction.

Neil Harvey

Vice President of Operations - USA

Neil joined Boston Energy in 2014 as an Offshore Technician. He has since worked across various manufacturer platforms in Europe up to site manager level and has spent the last three years working in the United States as a Technical Field Advisor, Technician Supervisor and Project Coordinator. Since 2021, Neil has taken on the role of Vice President of Operations managing our business and operations in the United States and Canada, from our offices within the United Kingdom and the United States.

Margo Jagiello

UK Business Lead

Margo has developed a successful career in recruitment and account management, with over 15 years of experience working across various engineering sectors including Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, and Renewable Energy. Since 2018 Margo has focused purely on the Wind Energy Industry, joining Boston Energy with proven success in coordinating volume Technician teams across multiple projects and supporting customers on a global scale.

Marc Dawson

Multi-Country Business Lead

Marc joined Boston Energy in 2021 after spending 15 years with a national manufacturing, driving, and logistics recruiter. He developed his skills managing multiple branches and client locations along with being responsible for business growth in his area and is looking to apply these skills into his new role of Multi-Country Business Lead.

Colin Pearce

Head of Business Development

Colin joined Boston Energy in 2021 after spending 12 years in business development almost exclusively in the Offshore Renewables sector. Prior to this, Colin was involved in the design of a next-generation turbine installation vessel and has also spent time as a Tidal Turbine Developer. With huge amounts of experience and knowledge of the Offshore Wind sector, not only in business development but also the engineering aspect, Colin will support Boston Energy with our ongoing and future projects.

Robert Mitchison

Technical Contracts Manager

Rob Joined Boston Energy in 2014 as an offshore Wind Turbine technician and during his time worked in various roles such as annual service, Main Component Exchange, Blade and Client escort and most recently as an offshore supervisor. Prior to the wind industry Rob joined the Royal Marines where he served for 4 years. More recently in 2021, Rob joined our office team as Technical Contracts Manager, He now is working on building up the special projects division of Boston Energy, where his experience from the field has proven invaluable supporting our technicians and technical contracts.

Jason Kennan

Technical Training Manager

Jason joined in 2016 as Technical Support and Training Manager, after working in a similar role at HMF UK for 4 years. At HMF UK, Jason managed offshore and onshore wind farm engineering projects and maintenance work. He previously ran his own company as a Commissioning Engineer in offshore wind farm construction projects for 4 years. Jason has been involved in Lifting, Crane Operations, Training and Engineering for over 25 years.

Katie Monk

QSHE Manager

Katie joined the Group in 2014, starting in an administration role for the Aviation division. Through a strong focus on detail and a determination to progress, Katie was quickly promoted to take additional responsibilities and became an Account Manager within the Energy Team, completing audits and safety processes. In June of 2020, Katie accepted the role of Group QSHE Manager, working to gain NEBOSH, IOSH and ISO Auditor qualifications.

Tom Anderton

Head of Bids & Tenders/Head of Group Marketing

Tom Anderton joined Bostonair in March 2016 as Group Marketing Manager and has now progressed to become Head of Bids & Tenders/Head of Group Marketing from September 2021. Tom has 20 years of experience in Marketing in sectors such as Automotive, Energy, Renewables, Aviation and Plumbing & Heating.

Becky Keegan

Group Marketing Manager

Becky joined the group in 2020 as Deputy Marketing Manager and in 2021, took on the role as Marketing Manager for the group. Becky has over 5 years of experience in marketing & communications, having previously worked in sectors such as Construction, Facilities Management, Retail, Investments and Telecommunication. Becky works closely with the Bostonair Group teams, clients and partners to manage and deliver the marketing strategy and activities for the group.
