Boston Energy are pleased to announce their involvement in a new project with Siemens at Walney Wind Farm, Barrow in Furness.
A team of Boston Energy technicians are amongst the first group of multi-agency recruits to trial a new offshore night shift to keep pace with the increased demand for turbine servicing.
Boston Energy technicians on speaking with members of Siemens Walney were told: “Siemens have worked hard developing this night shift and hope the technicians supporting Siemens can deliver, if we are successful at Walney it will become the template for a national roll out on other Siemens projects”
Adrian Yeaman, Operations Manager at Boston Energy said; “Boston Energy’s involvement in this project puts the company in a strong position with Siemens for on-going asset maintenance and deadline delivery and we are very pleased to continue increasing our support to Siemens with focused and highly trained technicians who really want to work with Siemens”
