Boston Energy Supports Siemens at Walney

Boston Energy are pleased to announce their involvement in a new project with Siemens at Walney Wind Farm, Barrow in Furness.

A team of Boston Energy technicians are amongst the first group of multi-agency recruits to trial a new offshore night shift to keep pace with the increased demand for turbine servicing.

Boston Energy technicians on speaking with members of Siemens Walney were told: “Siemens have worked hard developing this night shift and hope the technicians supporting Siemens can deliver, if we are successful at Walney it will become the template for a national roll out on other Siemens projects”
