Following on from the success of winning the Siemens Service and Maintenance framework contract, Boston Energy currently have a team of four turbine technicians working on the offshore Lynn and Inner Dowsing (LaID) wind farms with further Service O & M requirements from the Siemens Field Operations Team to fulfil on other offshore sites around the UK.
Within a short time frame, Boston Energy have invested in further training for the LaID technicians to Siemens Level 4 status – displaying our commitment to the technicians and their continued development in the Renewables industry.
The LaID service contract will keep the team working through the summer months and fair weather and provide the opportunity for experience based completion of the Siemens L4 competency assessment, leading to greater use of Boston Energy technicians around Siemens sites.
Boston Energy are proud to supply a very strong mix of technicians from within the existing Renewables industry, apprentice time served mechanical engineers and highly skilled aircraft engineers from the civil and military aviation sectors – bringing a high level of mechanical capability and support to Siemens O & M.
