“I had experience working on wind farms when I joined Boston almost a year ago and with their help I have worked my way up to competent technician (CT) by following their structured training and test program on a site for Galloper Offshore Wind Farm. On shore I helped clean towers and assist with installation-mechanical. Once I had covered basic training and proven my willingness to learn; I started working offshore as part of a team to complete my training as a CT.

Over many years of operational support to the Wind Energy Industry, Boston Energy has built a highly experienced management team and technician team; able to deliver the Group core values of safety and quality.
Approximately 35% of our technician team are armed forces/military veterans with backgrounds in all areas of the tri-services, drawn from the Army, RAF, Navy, REME and Marines. Several of our senior management team have a background in the armed forces and continue the sense of belonging into civilian life with Boston Energy.
