Health & Safety

Environment, Health, and Safety (and welfare) are at the heart of what we do at Boston Energy, with safety being one of our fundamental values. Our leadership team recognises its responsibility and accountability to ensure all our people go home safely.

Safety in the workplace is essential in everything we do; it is our primary consideration and one of our core values. Considering safety first eradicates complacency, and it shows that our technicians take an active interest and pride in their work, which ultimately means that they will provide a high-quality service for our customers. Boston Energy is very active in this area and has a continuous improvement philosophy in regard to improving QSHE standards in all our projects.

Safety Culture

Safety is one of our key values at Boston Energy, our top management recognise its responsibility and accountability to ensure all our people go home safely each day. We strive to develop strong relationships with both our customer base and our employees because we believe the strongest attitudes towards positive health & safety behaviours are built and maintained through communication, competence, and continual learning.

Site and task-specific risk assessments are carried out regularly by our fully engaged and competent staff with assigned responsibilities, a structured and disciplined audit and inspection process, and a robust accident and incident reporting procedure. Project-related EHS risks are identified and managed within the business risk register. Documented policies and procedures have been established for all key processes within the EH&SMS, these include the pre-assembly and installation of Wind Turbines.
