Overview

Boston Energy provides a service and maintenance contract for Vensys across 15 sites, covering the whole of the United Kingdom (incl N. Ireland).

Boston Energy was approached to provide the following services to Vensys as part of their UK onshore Service Campaign:

  • Planned maintenance
  • Troubleshooting call out
  • Critical parts (and storage in key geographical locations in the UK) consumables and lubricants
  • Statutory inspections
  • Component exchange programmes
  • Lead engineer status for visitors
  • LOTO activities whilst supporting on any heavy component programmes

Our solution:

We manage our own inventory of tools and calibrated specialist items to complete works and operate under an AWP’s and in accordance with UK Wind Turbine Safety Rules.

Our maintenance team are all OEM service trained in the Vensys maintenance school in Neunkirchen, Germany and verified by Vensys as ‘Authorised Technicians’.

Our statutory inspection items on Vensys turbines are all maintained internally in accordance with ISO 17020 standards (the highest inspection and certification standard in the UK).

To ensure the minimum downtime, Boston Energy provides a bespoke call-out service to Vensys.

Boston Energy has developed a robust and long-standing relationship with Vensys as a leading supplier to their O&M requirements in the UK. We look after all of their onshore turbines across the United Kingdom.
