We raise money annually for the charities through hosting and attending events, in which staff are encouraged to participate. We have also very recently sent 70 daysacks to Ukraine as part of the humanitarian relief effort. Our chosen charity of the year is Teenage Cancer Trust. A UK based charity dedicated to providing young people diagnosed with cancer the support and treatment they need.
Boston Energy along with our sister company Boston Renewables are all about wanting to support the world in dealing with climate change and lowering carbon emissions. It’s what we’re here for.
At Boston Energy, we have committed to a Net Zero Path and are beginning our journey down the road to sustainability, looking at how we can reduce and remove the fossil fuels used in our normal operations generating CO2 for our daily lives and operations, be they scope 1, scope 2 or scope 3 emissions.
At our HQ, we are also establishing a task force to examine routes to reducing and eliminating CO2 generation from all our activities. The core will be to establish a baseline of carbon emissions, then with that baseline established determine routes to minimise, & where possible, over time eliminate carbon levels.
